WILL BE TURNED INTO JOY!

“Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy” (John 16:20).

Today, some problem might be pricking you like a thorn. Some problem may keep on saddening you. You might have prayed a lot and expecting the deliverance with faith but in vain. But God is speaking to you through this promise. The sorrow over which you have been grieving will turn into joy. You will come across a miraculous transformation in your life.

On one side you have imparted good education to your son but he has not been provided with proper placement. He has gone astray and whiles away his time with his friends. Further, with great difficulty, you might have given your daughter in marriage. She is not able to live in her in law’s house as she is suppressed there. Today, God likes to interfere in your life and stretch His hand. Then all the problems which were troubling you thus far will cease.

Once, the disciples were travelling in a boat in the Sea of Galilee. Suddenly the sea became rough and there was windstorm. They were unable to control the boat and sought the help of Jesus who was sleeping. He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased and there was calm. Just one word and everything became normal. “For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded and it stood fast” (Psalm 33:9).

Though Jesus was within the boat, the disciples did not realize it. They did not converse with Him happily and that was why the boat was subjected to turmoil. Today, Jesus is at the bottom of your heart. Wake him up. Search Him with fasting and prayer. Give space for Him to advocate and fight for you. In one word that He speaks, every problem which had been troubling you for years will come to an end.

One sister gave her daughter in marriage and the marriage was conducted in a grand manner. But the girl was able to stay in the in-law’s home only for a short span of time. Her problem with the mother in law had separated her from her husband for ten years. Even the ‘thali chain’ had been broken.

One day, God spoke to her and said, ‘Your sorrow will turn into joy’. She kept her faith in that word, set the ‘thali chain’ right and came to the church with it. We blessed it again and told her that her sorrow will turn into joy. That month itself her husband voluntarily came in search of his wife, sought forgiveness from her family members and got reunited with her. Now the couple is blessed with a male child. God is one who does miracles.

To meditate: “He does great things past finding out, yes, wonders without number” (Job 9:10).
