God Will Turn a Curse Into a Blessing!

“Nevertheless the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam, but the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you” (Deuteronomy 23:5).

In this verse, two promises are connected. First, the Lord does not listen to those who curse you. He will break the curse. And secondly, He will give you the days of blessing, in proportion to the days you lived in calamity and sorrow. So do not say with all sadness, “Why these curses after curses for me? Why these sorceries after sorceries for me? I am a child of God but even then why all these problems for me?”

Today, the cursing people are outnumbering the people of God who bless others.  The children receive the curses from the parents itself. The parents say, “You will not be fine. You listen to the ill advice of your wife and treat us with indifference. You will never be happy”. Some others go to the extent of hiring the magicians and sorcerers to bring curse on others.  Their evil intentions are that they should become seriously ill, huge losses and accidents should happen in the families and so on.

But if you are the children of God, all these things do not happen to you. “For, there is no sorcery against Jacob, nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob and of Israel, ‘Oh, what God has done!” (Numbers 23:23).  “No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their righteousness is from me,” says the Lord” (Isaiah 54:17).

Some Balaams are trying to betray you. They are so particular that some obstacles should be brought in so that you are deprived of all blessings in your life. But God came to oppose Balaam with a drawn sword and in the end, Balaam realized that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel (Numbers 24: 1) and blessed Israel.

Today, the Lord holds your hand and says, "Son, let your sorrows come to an end. You have suffered a lot and it is enough. I will change all the curses you experienced so far and shower the blessings on you from today.”  “I will bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and I will curse him who curses you, and in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Genesis 12:2, 3).

Yes, He will victoriously swallow the death. “He will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth;” (Isaiah 25:8). Dear children of God, since God does all the battles for you, whoever initiates to curse or harm you, will not succeed.

To meditate: “And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it and His servants shall serve Him” (Revelation 22:3).
