“Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” (Mathew 25:34).

Just think over how lovingly God calls you. Your heart will rejoice when you hear Him calling you as “You blessed by my Father.”

Make sure of your calling and choosing. You have not been called to inherit merely the blessings of the world. Do not forget that you have been called to inherit the blessings of the Eternal Kingdom. God has prepared that Kingdom from the day of formation.

That is why Paul the Apostle points out “Walk worthy of the calling with which you were called…..endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit (Ephesians 4:1-3) after meditating the glory of the calling.

Let the voice of the calling of God be ringing in your ears always. Continuously meditate the compassion of God. Let the voice of His calling be ringing in your heart also. Anyway, you should be found worthy of that Heavenly blessing.

Dear children of God, the days you spend in this world will cross over very fast. It may be seventy or eighty years but it will wither like a flower of the grass. But the duration of your life in the Eternal Kingdom is eternal. Submit yourself to enter that Kingdom and to stand steadfast to the call of God.

For that, you should be prepared to tolerate all the sufferings. Let your eyes be fixed on the loving Son’s Kingdom while you undergo the paths of reproaches and tribulations. “….which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer” (II Thessalonians 1:5).

Look at the model set by our precious Lord. Though He lived on this earth, He had a clear revelation that He did not belong to this world and He made a clear note of this.

So, will you follow His footsteps with all reverence? Let also your eyes be fixed on the heaven. One day, when you enter the Kingdom of God, He will call you with love “You blessed by my Father.”

To meditate: “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ” (Philippians 3:20).
