“Now You have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue before you forever; for you have blessed it, O Lord, and it shall be blessed forever” (I Chronicles 17:27).

God not only blesses you but He also blesses your home, your vessels and your children. Further, He comes along and stays with you.

That day, Jesus wanted to bless the home of Zacchaeus and so said “Zacchaeus, today I must stay at your house.” Zacchaeus would not have expected such loving words. Zacchaeus’ drunken friends, friends who tease and make mockery and the high level

Officials in the government might have visited and stayed in Zacchaeus’ home thus far.

But, when Jesus visited that home, the situation totally changed. “Today salvation has come to this house.” Is not ‘Salvation’ a great blessing among all other blessings of God?

That day, Paul and Silas went to the house of the keeper of the prison. The Scripture says, “Then they spoke the Word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house” (Acts 16:32). Do you know what the blessing brought to that home because of this? All the inmates in that house were not only saved but everyone also received Baptism.

Dear children of God, God wants to bless you and also your family members. Since God is blessing your home, that blessing will stay with you forever. What is it you need to do to receive this blessing?

Firstly, you wake up in the early morning and seek Him. Those who seek Him in the early morning will find Him. Look at David saying, “Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for in you do I trust” (Psalm 143:8).

Secondly, read the Scripture verses and meditate them. Isaac was a man of meditation and this is one of the reasons for God to bless his family. Read the verse vide Genesis 24:63. It reveals that Isaac went out in the evenings to meditate.

Thirdly, struggle with God and pray as Jacob did. Plead that you will not let Him go unless He blesses you. Then you will receive both the blessings of this world and Spiritual blessings.

Fourthly, you should dwell with God every day. Submit yourself for Him to lead, with the feeling that He is with you in whatever things you do. All those saints like Abraham, Isaac, Enoch and Noah dwelled with God. Because of this, all their families were blessed. Dear children of God, He will definitely bless you.

To meditate: “The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us” (Psalm 115:12)
