WILL STRENGTHEN!

“I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

It is essential that you have to be strengthened. It is a necessity that you have to be made resolute in God and in the power of His might. God says, “I will strengthen you”.

When children become weak due to fever or any other illness, the parents will be providing them varieties of soups to restore their lost strength. Further, Horlicks, Bournvita and other vitamin tablets are also given to them. The first and foremost wish of the parents is that their children should stay hale and healthy. If it is so, how true it is for God to make you strong and powerful!

Though many people are physically strong, they are weak in their souls. The guilty conscience weakens them and as a result, they are unable to resist satan. The situation in which they are unable to overcome the lusts of the flesh and dirty thoughts prevents them from doing God’s work and thus they become weak and weary.

David says, “For my life is spent with grief and my years with sighing; my strength fails because of my iniquity and my bones waste away” (Psalms 31:10). He realised that his iniquity was the reason for his strength to fail.

If you want to live strong in Christ, you have to clear all the sins and wickedness in you. Never allow evil habits to overcome you. Some people weaken themselves. Some people are weakened by evil spirits. Jesus met a woman and she was bent over and could not stand straight. The Scripture says, “And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years and was bent over and could in no way raise herself.” (Luke 13:11).

When that weakening spirit caught hold of her, she did not rebuke it and without knowing that the weakening spirit has attacked her, she accepted the deformity as her lifestyle. This made her suffer for eighteen years. So, when the weakening spirit attacks you, rebuke it. Overcome it with the blood of the lamb and the verse of testimony.

Dear children of God, submit your body in the hand of God. The Holy Spirit will fill you and redeem you from the power of the evil spirit. Pray firmly for God to strengthen you. He will strengthen you and make you steady.

To meditate:- “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength” (Isaiah 40:29).
