WHAT YOU HAVE!

“Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown” (Revelation 3:11).

You will be the kings and priests in the heavenly kingdom. You will have governance and command. There were many crowns on the head of Christ (Revelation 19:12). He is keeping all those crowns just for the purpose of giving you. He is keeping for you the Crown of life, Crown which does not wither, Crown of glory, Crown of righteousness. Crown which never perishes and Crowns embedded with pearls, gems and diamonds.

If you want to receive the crown from God, you have to stand steadfast to the end and protect your faith. What is the witness of Paul the Apostle? “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing” (II Timothy 4:7, 8).

God cautioned the church in Philadelphia that its crown will have to be given to someone else if it is not truthful. The birthright is also just one like a crown. Esau despised the birthright and sold it for bread and stew of lentils and thus the crown of birthright reached Jacob.

When Saul did not obey the Word of God, that Crown reached David. The Crown which was due to reach Absalom, the eldest son of David changed the ways and reached Solomon. It is because of this that the children of God should make sure of the calling and choosing of God. It is essential that you should stand steadfast in your anointment.

God exalted Adam and Eve, told them to rule over everything and gave them the governance and reign. But when they sold them to satan, the reign disappeared from them. Thus satan became the ruler of the world. But Adam and Eve lost their crown and glory and stood nude pathetically.

Dear children of God, the anointment God has given you is a precious one. It adorns you like a crown. Never lose the anointed crown. When that anointment was poured on the head of Aaron, it remained a wonderful crown for him.

When you come for the ministry of prophecy, the anointment which God gave for this purpose will remain as a crown for you. When God has poured the anointment of kings on you, you should not roam about committing wicked things like a trivial person. You should stand steadfast for God to the end and receive that crown.

To meditate: “Be faithful until death and I will give you the crown of life” (Revelation 2:10).
