“…who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus ” (II Timothy 1:9).

Right from the early period, we have been given the grace in Jesus Christ. Jesus brought the grace for us. “….dwelt among us…..full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).

You may be seeking grace from God every now and then. But He has already given to you in the early period itself. He has filled you with His grace even before the foundation of the world.

Inherit that grace which God has given you through Jesus Christ. You have to accept that grace and become its heir by faith. How wonderful it is for God to give that grace right from the early days!

Even before creating man, God created the sky and the earth for his sake. To enable him to enjoy the light, He created the sun and the stars and further, He created the plants and trees for the man to enjoy the tasty fruits. God also created the birds, animals and the fishes in his favour. This is the grace which God showed on man right from the beginning.

Grace is the one which brings the mighty power of God into your life. It is the characteristic of God to pour the grace on you. One day that grace met Peter the apostle. Thus, the man who was catching fish was turned into a man catching people for God; turned an ordinary man into a great disciple; the illiterate man was made a powerful servant of God. Grace is nothing but God’s mercy which comes in search of even undeserving man. That is the power which lifts you from the miry clay. It is the power which turns even the chief among the sinners into righteous.

Whatever bad situation you may be experiencing and even if you are made to pass through the valley of Baca, never feel sad. That grace will protect and guide you. When Paul the Apostle and Silas prayed and praised God within the prison, it was the grace which made the doors of the prison to open; the chain on everyone was broken. Dear children of God, it is the grace of God which has enabled you to stand strong. So, praise the God of grace with gratitude. Hold the grace of God firmly and it will guide you to the end.

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever” (Psalm 23:6).
