GRACE OF SALVATION!
“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,” (Titus 2:11).
The Scripture says "The grace of God has appeared that offers Salvation to all the people" and it is not meant only for a few people or believers or servants of God. Dear children of God, that grace is waiting for you too. That true light is the one which gives light to everyone coming into the world. He graciously accepts every man without neglecting anybody. He is powerful to present everyone fully mature in Christ.
Those who accept Him with faith alone will inherit it. The unison of your faith and the grace of God beget Salvation. The combination of His blood and your repentance procure you the forgiveness.
Blood was oozing out when Jesus was hanging on the cross. At that time, grace was also created among all men. But no one was either aware of it or accepted it. But a thief who was also crucified along with Jesus addressed Him as "Lord" and pleaded "Remember me when you come into your kingdom." Thereby he was saved through grace. The grace of God took him to heaven. He received that blessed opportunity because of the grace of Christ.
The Scripture says, “..who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began” (II Timothy 1:9).
Once, a Pharisee and a tax collector went into a church. The Pharisee prayed with vanity mentioning all his self-righteousness. But the tax collector stood afar off and did not even raise his eyes to heaven. He beat his breast pleading "God, be merciful to me a sinner." At that time the divine grace met him. One who came as a sinner was transformed into righteous and saint. Yes. This is the grace of God's Salvation.
Jesus Christ said, “And you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Mark 13:13). It is grace which makes you stand steadfast in the Salvation received. To whatever level you humble yourself and dedicate yourself to God, the grace of Salvation will keep on increasing in you.
To meditate: “….being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:24).
