“Blessed is the man whose strength is in you, whose heart is set on pilgrimage” (Psalm 84:5).
Get strengthened in God. Be strong in His Spirit's power of might. Be always filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Today, many people, even though they are Christians, stumble for the reason that they have not stabilized themselves in Christ. Even during the times of small problems and struggles, they become desolate being unable to oppose satan and the tests brought by him. “He gives power to the weak and to those who have no might, He increases strength” (Isaiah 40:29).
Many Christians attend the church services conducted in the morning and evening as well regularly. Further, they attend the Bible study conducted on Wednesdays, prayer meetings of Saturdays and other cottage, revival and convention meetings. But in spite of all these efforts, they are unable to get strengthened in their Spiritual lives. They pretend to be with godliness but deny its power and they always learn but are never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (II Timothy 3:5, 7).
There are millions of people in India who do not know who Jesus Christ is. Many villages are immersed in darkness for the reason that the Gospel is yet to be proclaimed. When the situation is such, many people stay put within four walls wherein they worship, listen to deep truths and sermons. These people are not satisfied with what they eat. It is said in Mica 6:14 that “You shall eat, but not be satisfied” and how true it is!
Dear children of God, practice those things which you listen in the sermons. Get strengthened in the prayerful life. Hold the promises firmly and bring them to your practical life. You have to grow in the image of God and become strong. Is it not? God says, Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).
Dear children of God, since God is with you, you need not fear anything. God will definitely strengthen you. Proclaim your faith as David said, "The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; the God of my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, you save me from violence " (II Samuel 22:2, 3)
To meditate: “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever” (II Peter 3:18).
