“How precious is your loving kindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings” (Psalm 36:7).

The word ‘Grace’ in the Scripture is sweet and great and it makes the heart ecstatic. This word is heard in everyone’s prayer. It is also heard in the midst and end of the sermons. It is the glorious power of God which makes the grace stay surrounding you. The divine grace protects you, provides refuge to you and also shoulders you.

Dear children of God, grow in grace. Get strengthened and stabilized in it. How to receive this grace immeasurably? First of all, the ideal time to receive it is the early hours of the day. The Scripture says: “They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:23).

Secondly, “Surely He scorns the scornful but gives grace to the humble” (Proverbs 3:34). Yes, God expects a humble heart from you. When you humble yourself in the presence of God, He will definitely exalt you.

Thirdly, when you wait for God and when you praise to glorify Him, the grace encircles you. At that time, you will receive new strength. Dear children of God, will you wait in prayer and seek Him to pour the Spirit of Grace and the Spirit of the petition on you? When the Spirit of grace is poured upon you, you will become a vessel of comfort to many. David says, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever”(Psalm 23:6).

Fourthly, God gives grace to those who place their faith on Him. “But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him” (Psalm 32:10). “Let your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in you” (Psalm 33:22).

Fifthly “that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God” (II Corinthians 4:15). As you keep on praising God as a family, He will fill your heart with His grace. He will cross over and come to dwell in the midst of praises. When He comes, He will not come empty handed but will come with grace. He will turn your life to be a vessel of grace. He will pour the Spirits of grace upon you. At that moment, the gifts of Spirit will keep working within you.

Dear children of God, will you praise God always so that His precious grace enhances in you?

To meditate: “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalm 34:1).
