SO THAT YOU ESCAPE!
"God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it" (I Corinthians 10:13).
God will make a way of escape from temptation. In the English version of the Scripture, it is clearly written as 'make the way of escape.' When the situation makes you feel that there is no way to escape, God will protect you by creating a new way to escape, which you would not have thought.
Satan will tempt you in two ways. One way is to attract your heart with the worldly lusts, make you feel that these lusts provide good things and happiness and test you to fall in sin. The next way is to bring tribulations, sickness and accidents and make you feel sad and test you. He will identify the weakness of yours in which you often fall and plan his attack on its basis.
"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful" (I Corinthians 10:13). When you are tempted, God will provide you with the strength to bear them. He will also create a way for you to escape.
When your children write the examinations, He will enable them to score high marks by giving ideas. When you are caught in non-detachable tangles, He will graciously provide you divine wisdom to come out of it.
Once when David was staying in the wilderness of Maon, Saul and his men were coming in search of him. On knowing his location, Saul went there with a huge army and encircled David and his men. But see how God created a new way for David to escape.
But, all of a sudden a messenger came to Saul, saying, “Hurry and come, for the Philistines have invaded the land!” Therefore Saul returned without pursuing David and went against the Philistines. God sympathised for David and so created a new situation to divert the mind of Saul (I Samuel 23:24-28).
Dear children of God, do the enemies rise against you? Do the sorceries attack your family? Do not be afraid. God will advocate and fight for you. You will not face your enemies anymore. One who is with you is great.
To meditate: "Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our maker" (Psalm 95:6).
