"Redeem....the time, because the days are evil" (Ephesians 5:16).

Every second is a gracious gift given by God to you. You can never regain the time you have lost. Whatever the efforts are, the water which has come out of the dam can never get back. So, make use of the time.

Loss of money can be made good and if the house is demolished, it can be rebuilt. But the days which have lapsed cannot be recovered. So, make use of the time even when the doors of grace are kept open.

Look at the tiny ant. It makes use of the summer days and preserves food. This helps it during the rainy days when it is unable to go in search of food. You will not be put to shame during the coming of the bridegroom if you keep on saving the power of Spirit, grace and the oil of anointing.

Make use of the time and protect your holiness by fasting and praying. For the sake of leading a holy life, streamline and stabilise yourself and reconcile with all those with whom you have to reconcile. Is not the Coming of God very soon? If you had not been saved yet, do not postpone it even for a day. "Behold now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of Salvation" (II Corinthians 6:2). "Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion" (Hebrews 3:7, 8).

David had dedicated his life exclusively for doing the will of God. Be, at the time of rearing the sheep or be at the time of hiding and roaming in the wilderness or be at the time of reigning, he made use of his time. The Scripture says, "For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep" (Acts 13:36).

This is not the time to maintain silence. Mordecai sent the following message to Esther. "For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" (Esther 4:14).

Dear children of God, make use of your time and begin to pray. Carry out the harvest making use of the time. The farmlands are ready with ripe plants for harvest. If not harvested now, the grains will be put to waste. They will fall down and get destroyed. Go straight and across the country and carry out the God-given harvest with all enthusiasm.

To meditate: "So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psalm 90:12).
