TO THE UTTERMOST!

"Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them" (Hebrews 7:25).

In the Scripture, the life of Ruth was in a broken condition. Her husband died at a young age. Her life became fully dark. This situation made her mother-in-law more sorrowful. So, Ruth unmindful of her condition decided to live for the sake of her mother-in-law and hence migrated to Bethlehem. There, she did not lie down out of distress. She had decided to feed her mother-in-law by gathering the grains that are strewn on the field.

In this situation, God intervened in the life of Ruth. Boaz who was a wealthy person noticed the good qualities of Ruth and married her. They had a son by name Obed. Thus, God did not allow the life of Ruth to end abruptly. God blessed her life to be holistic.

Here, a life has been given to you. You have to complete the life with praises to God, with success and joy. You may have sorrows and wounds in your mind, Do not get dejected in the midst of losses, defeats, sadness and disappointments. Even in the midst of all these things look up to resurrected Jesus Christ. Then, you will never be broken.

God has a great aim for you. Today, He is filling you with the power of resurrection. With love, He says "My son, shake yourself from the dust, arise. Come up from the dead. I will make you shine. Wipe your tears off. Let the Spirit of enthusiasm wrest you."

A mother who had been saved had a son and he died at the age of ten years. During the burial, she was inexplicably sad. But the sermon during the funeral brought a big hope in her mind. At once she said, "Son, though my heart is filled with an unbearable sadness, there is one thing I am sure about. My Redeemer is alive. When He comes again He will bring you too. I will meet you in glory. You also will rise up one day. The power of Resurrection will descend on you. It is that hope which comforts me."

Dear children of God, sing His praise for His resurrection. Then you will experience the glory of the resurrection. God is powerful to bless you a hundredfold of what you are now. He will guide you to the end with new mercies. You will stay strengthened in your Spirit.

To meditate: "....to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man" (Ephesians 3:16).
