"The Lord will perfect that which concerns me" (Psalm 138:8).

David declares his faith in this portion of the Scripture. "Though there is no one in the world to support me, God is with me. He will perfect that which concerns me. I need not worry" God is with you and so, you are not orphans or helpless. He has concern over your future. He says with love "Son, Daughter, I am the Lord who will perfect that which concerns you.

Once, a young sister met a servant of God and shared her agony saying, "No one takes care of my marriage. I am aging and my parents do not show any concern in this regard. What shall I do?" In reply, the servant of God said, "Okay daughter, Everyday, after waking up, look up to the heaven and say "The Lord will perfect that which concerns me" repeatedly for one hundred times." The girl accepted to do so and went away.

After a few months, the girl came back to the servant of God with a wedding invitation. She said, "Sir, as you said, God has made perfect that which concerns me. My marriage proposal has been finalized but now I am worried about the marriage event. He cleared her fears saying, "He who created this marriage proposal will also graciously help in things to happen perfectly."

Even before creating a man in Eden Garden, God had made perfect that which concerned him. Identifying every need of man, God created all the essentials like sun, moon, stars, wonderful varieties of fruits, gardens, trees and singing birds. The man, after seeing all these things would have praised God saying "God has made perfect that which concerns me."

See! He made everything perfect for you on the cross. For your sake, He was crowned with thorns and thus He broke the power of the curse. He let His hands to be pierced with nails and thus has inscribed you on the palms of His hands. He let His feet to be split and with that, He crushed the head of satan. He let His entire body to receive the lashes and accepted the stripes through which your sickness is healed.

Dear children of God, when you reach eternity, there also you will find that He has made perfect all which concerns you. Your heart will rejoice on seeing the mansions, crowns and the thrones and you will praise Him saying "You have made perfect all that which concerns me."

To meditate: "In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:6).
