“O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt you, I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things; your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth” (Isaiah 25:1).

Prophet Isaiah praises God saying, “O Lord, you are my God. I will exalt you, I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things; your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.” The Psalmist also says “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed and in your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me when as yet there were none of them” (Psalm 139:16).

God knows you even before you came into your mother’s womb. He knows the aims and plans of your life. God says vide Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” and vide Isaiah 55:8, 9 He says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8, 9).

The thoughts of God are higher than those of yours. His plans and thoughts are revealed through the promises. God’s aim is that you should be saved and you should be the conquerors (Romans 8:37), you may prosper in all things and be in health (III John 1:2), you should be healthy (Isaiah 53:5) and you shall not borrow (Deuteronomy 15:6).

Your life is in the hand of God. He has inscribed you in His palms. He says “See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me” (Isaiah 49:16). So, dear children of God, your life is not in your hands and neither in the hands of an astrologer. You have been inscribed in the nail pierced palm of Jesus.

The thought of yours come to Him, every time He looks at His palm. All the plans about you have been written in heaven’s book. He is faithful to fulfill all the purposes in respect to you.

Dear children of God, pray as He taught saying “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Mathew 6:10) and dedicate yourself to His plans and purposes. Because “He has made everything beautiful in its time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

To meditate: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye” (Psalm 32:8).
