“Have you not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side?” (Job 1:10).

Even you may not know the refuge which God has provided you, but satan knows it very clearly.

Dear children of God, He has fenced around you and has placed you safely in the fort of blood. He stays as a wall of fire around you. You might not have seen this with your eyes of flesh. But never forget that God has fenced around you and stays as a wall of fire around you to protect you.

Every father will somehow try to provide protection to his children. He will nurture them hiring at least a small residence. He will not care about himself facing any danger but will ensure that no one commits any evil against his children. When the ordinary father of the world himself is so affectionate towards his children how greatly the heavenly Father will be possessing care and concern towards his children.

The Scripture says, “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever” (Psalms 125:2). God has laid a fence around you. God has placed you in a high refuge just like how a hen protects its chicken under its wings.

Many people sadden God by neglecting this precious refuge. They come out of this refuge and resort to worldly recreations and lusts. They come out of the refuge to earn money in short cut methods. See. Ecclesiastes cautions saying, “He who digs a pit will fall into it, and whoever breaks through a wall will be bitten by a serpent” (Ecclesiastes 10:8).

When God has fenced around you, satan can never enter into it. But when you do not stay within it and come out of it on your own accord, it will pave way for you to fall on the hands of satan.

A person who was involved in constructing huge buildings in the United States of America once built a "Bomb Protection Shelter" for the sake of protecting himself during times of war. He had invited the famous Evangelist Morris Cerullo to pray for that newly built shelter.

The Evangelist told the builder said, "Sir, I too have a shelter for protecting me and it has been built with ingredients of better quality than used by you in your new shelter." After saying this he read the verse vide Psalm 91:4 which says, “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler” (Psalms 91:4). Dear children of God, do you stay put within that refuge?

To meditate: “I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust” (Psalms 91:2).
