“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me” (Jeremiah 32:27).

Our God is a God of miracles and marvels. There are many impossible things for a man. There are diseases which are not curable by the doctors. There are litigations which could not be settled by the arguments of the lawyers. There are problems which could not be solved by the parents. But nothing is impossible to God.

Can Abraham give birth to a child at the age of hundred? How could the dead womb of Sarah bear a child? According to nature and according to medical norms, it is impossible indeed. But there is no wonderful thing which God cannot do. God not only willed to enable them to give birth to a child at that old age but also He graciously enabled the world to receive great blessing through that child. There is no wonderful thing which God cannot do.

Is it possible to stop the sun in a position in the sky? The sun is nothing but flames of fire weighing several tons and it exists for millions of years but still, God was able to stop its movement by a command. When Joshua commanded, “Sun, stand still over Gibeon; and Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon,” they stood still.

The world would have doubted how a virgin could bear a child. But there is nothing impossible to God. When Mary hesitated with the thought that how this could happen, the angel said, “For with God nothing will be impossible” (Luke 1:37).

God is powerful to do the miracles which you are in need of. He is powerful to deliver us from evils (Daniel 3:17). "God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones” (Matthew 3:9). He is also powerful in fulfilling His promises (Romans 4:21).

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you” (II Corinthians 9:8). “He is able even to subdue all things to Himself” (Philippians 3:21). “Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him” (Hebrews 7:25). “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy” (Jude 1:24).

Dear children of God, The same powerful God is your God. He is the one to do miracles. The Prophet Jeremiah admired His power and praised saying, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you. You are great in counsel and mighty in work, for Your eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings” (Jeremiah 32:17, 19).

To meditate: “But our God is in heaven; he does whatever He pleases” (Psalms 115:3).
