“If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31).

God is one to be always with you. When God is with you, who can be against you? Dear children of God, will you thank God every day saying, “Lord, thank you for being with me. Thank you for letting your presence to be with me and for making thousands of angels to stay with me."

God has promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you," You always long for the presence of God. When two or three gather together, God will come in their midst. When you begin to extend your praises to Him, He who dwells in the midst of praises will come there.

The very purpose of God is to stay with you. That is the reason for creating you in his image and likeness. During the times of the cool of the day, God came in search of the sons of men. He called Abraham 'My Friend' and spoke to him. With Moses, He spoke face to face. Dear children of God, will you long for the presence of God? Will you have the desire to stay with God? The Scripture says, “The Lord is with you while you are with Him” (II Chronicles 15:2).

You should never sadden God. He is the one to bless you and exalt you and so you should never make Him sad, It is to His children He says, "I am with you" and not to the drunkards, fornicators and those living in the worldly lusts. God never dwells with those who live on their own accord. If the Holy Spirit is saddened, God will withdraw. He withdrew from Saul when he failed to obey the Word of God.

If God is with you, your life becomes joyful. When the Holy Spirit abides in you, your life not only becomes victorious but also He will guide you wonderfully. When you ride a bicycle, a minimum effort will enable you in going a long distance. Covering a distance in a cycle will be much more comfortable than walking tiredly. Similarly, the help of the Holy Spirit will enable us to lead a successful life.

Look at Joseph! God was with him and how greatly this elevated him! He could not have exalted to that extent with his self-efforts. The gifts of the Spirit did function in him as the Holy Spirit was with him. God made all things he tried, to happen. Dear children of God, He will also bless you in the same way.

To meditate: “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper” (Psalms 1:3).
