“So shall My word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11).

The Scripture is Spirit and life and it is powerful to revive the soul. It never returns empty. Since you read the Scripture willingly and meditate, great good things will happen to you.

The greatest of the blessings given by God is the Scripture. It is through the verses of the Bible, you are able to understand the blessings which God has for you. It is through the Bible verses, you inherit the promises. The captain of a huge ship is being guided by a magnetic pin and similarly, the Bible verse guides you wonderfully.

A Gospel team desired to carry the Scripture into a Communist territory where the Word of God could never enter. So, in order to spread the Gospel, they followed a unique way. Their plan was to float one hundred number of tiny boats, within a distance of ten feet.

Those were the boats which could move very slowly without any mechanical or physical assistance. Do you think about how this could be possible? The boats defined above are nothing else but empty plastic bottles. They just put a copy of the Gospel of Mark in each of those hundreds of bottles and prayerfully pushed them into the waves of the sea, the venue for this activity is the seashore of California in the USA. Those bottles carrying the Gospel of Mark floated and began to spread into the sea slowly and beautifully.

In that way, thousands of bottles beautifully floated and moved into the sea and the prayer warriors who were standing on the shore watching the bottles waved their hands and rendered a happy send off to the bottles. Their solid faith was that the Scripture will never return without yielding results.

Many months passed by. One day a young man was standing on the shore enjoying the sight of waves reaching the shore one after the other. At that time he noticed a bottle floating in the water and the bottle seemed to be moving towards him purposefully. He also saw the papers inside the bottle. He eagerly picked the bottle with the feeling that someone has sent an important message that way.

He found the book of the Gospel of Mark in the bottle and began to read it day and night. His heart was delighted. He dedicated his life exclusively to Christ. That bottle travelled in the water for three years and reached the right person at the right time. It was God who pushed the bottle in the right direction.

Dear children of God, He will bless every effort of yours which you make towards God and the Gospels. Do not forget that the Scripture will never return without serving the purpose.

To meditate: “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul” (Psalms 19:7).
