“......where I am, there my servant will be also” (John 12:26).

One of the great blessings which God gives to His servants is His irrevocable presence. Where God is, His servants will also be. God also will be with His servants. That day, God was with His servants and confirmed the Word through miracles and signs.

The children of Israel were taken as captives to Babylon. The presence of God followed them there. God not only gave His presence in an immeasurable way to Daniel who wished to minister but also gave him wisdom which was ten times more than what the wise men of Babylon had.

Can the presence of God descend even into Lion's den? Yes, it can. When Daniel was cast into the den of the lions, God who was the King of the Jews descended on the den and delivered Daniel shutting the mouth of the lion.

Can the presence of God descend on a burning fiery furnace? Yes, it can. When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego were thrown into a burning fiery furnace God descended on it and protected them from the fire causing any harm to them. Dear children of God, never forget that during the fiery testing times, God is with you and He is powerful to deliver you from such evils.

God says, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you” (Isaiah 43:2).

How blessed it is for you to be with God and God to be with you! How glorious it is to serve God? His irrevocable presence will always be with you. Let it be in the midst of thorns or prison or Mount Carmel which has to stand alone, God will always be with you. He has promised, "I am with you always even to the end of the age.”

When God called Joshua for His glorious ministry, He gave him a wonderful promise. “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:5, 9).

Today, God has given you the same promise. His irrevocable presence will be with you whenever you need and He will direct your paths.

To meditate: “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you” (Genesis 28:15).
