“........the sheep follow him, for they know his voice” (John 10:4).
You are the children of God. God is the Heavenly Father who loves you. The relationship which prevails between you, His children and the Heavenly Father should never get affected, on account of any event whatsoever.
The greatest love an individual gets in this world is the love of the mother and the father. Father and mother are the great blessings, you receive from God. A man does not have the right to choose his mother and father. He may be able to choose a friend or a life partner and also employment. But the father and mother are the ones given by God.
When a child is born, the parents show immeasurable love towards it. They value the child more than their own lives and nurture it with great care. They sacrificially give everything to it without expecting anything in return.
When God has placed so much of love in the minds of the parents, what a great quantum of love He should possess! He looks at you and says with love, "Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours” (Luke 15:31).
What you give to the Lord is your mere tiny heart. But God gives you Salvation, divine healing, Holy Spirit, peace, eternal life, Heavenly dwellings and the crown of life. How big and great are these things which God gives you!
The Prophet Isaiah writes, “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him” (Isaiah 64:4).
Dear children of God, you can walk upright with the joy and faith that you are the children of the Lord and the King of kings. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12). Not only that. He has given you the Spirit of adoption by which you call Him “Abba, Father.”
The Scripture says, “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God and if children, then heirs-heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ” (Romans 8:16-17).
To meditate: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God” (Romans 8:14).
