SONS OF GOD!
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
The whole of the Bible is filled with divine love. If the juice of the same is extracted, it will be drops of divine love only. The Scripture says, “For God so loved the world.”
WORD OF GOD!
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Mathew 5:9).
The act of bringing in peace itself is a blessed experience. All those among whom you created peace will be very much grateful to you. Further, when you make peace, you will be called sons of God.
THE RIVER OF GOD!
“So shall My word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11).
The Scripture is Spirit and life and it is powerful to revive the soul. It never returns empty. Since you read the Scripture willingly and meditate, great good things will happen to you.
“You greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water" (Psalm 65:9).
God has chosen you as a pleasant forest and a beautiful garden. You are the garden in which God dwells. Whenever you hear the voice of the beloved, your heart will rejoice.
“My Presence will go with you and I will give you rest” (Exodus 33:14).
Let the presence of God go ahead of you every month and year. No enemy’s power could overcome you if the presence of God goes ahead of you. No hurdle can restrict you and your run will end successfully.
“So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you” (Exodus 23:25).
It is the perfect will of God that you should live with divine health. Is it not a great blessing for you to live in good health without getting subjected to the hardships of ill health?
“I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2).
God gives you the worldly blessings and the Spiritual blessings. At the same time, as you have Him as your refuge He gives you the eternal blessings too.
IN THE IMAGE OF GOD!
“And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day” (Genesis 3:8).
The biggest of the blessings which God gave to Adam and Eve is the fellowship with Him. Every day, God dwelled in the Eden Garden in the cool of the day. He descended to have fellowship with man and to speak with him. As He descended, the heat of the day turned cool in His fellowship.
HUMILITY AND EXALTATION!
“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them" (Genesis 1:27).
Even before creating man, God had a special purpose over him. That is why, according to His eternal purpose, He created man on His own liking and image. Because of His love, God poured His breath of life itself on him. How great are His special purposes for the man!
LIKE A MOTHER!
“For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted” (Luke 14:11).
Firstly, God exalts those who come to Him after repentance. Secondly, He exalts those who humble themselves. Humility is a special ornament. God loves and likes humility.
GREATNESS OF HUMILITY!
“As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem” (Isaiah 66:13).
You may have read this verse any number of times but the sweetness and the comfort in it never diminish. God, who loves you more than how a mother loves her children, also comforts you like a mother.
“....if their uncircumcised hearts are humbled, and they accept their guilt then I will remember my covenant with Jacob and my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham I will remember; I will remember the land” (Leviticus 26:41, 42).
God has numerous blessings for those who humble themselves. God says that He will remember His covenant and bless if one submits himself with humility. The covenant is nothing but God’s promises. When God made covenants with your forefathers, the promises He gave are being extended to you as well, if you humble yourself.
ABIDE WITH US!
“I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead” (Philippians 3:8, 11).
The great desire of Paul the Apostle was to be found good at the time of Christ’s Second Coming and to be fit enough to resurrect from the dead. Thus he points out “by any means.”
“But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.” And He went in to stay with them” (Luke 24:29).
What a blessed experience it is for God to abide with you! When you request Him with all perseverance, He will definitely visit your home. He will also stay in your heart.
WHAT SHE COULD!
“........the sheep follow him, for they know his voice” (John 10:4).
You are the children of God. God is the Heavenly Father who loves you. The relationship which prevails between you, His children and the Heavenly Father should never get affected, on account of any event whatsoever.
“She has done what she could” (Mark 14:8).
God witnesses that she has done what she could. Indeed she was a sinner and indeed one who had been hated and neglected by society. But when God changed her life, she did what she could to God.
DO NOT BE WEAK!
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse” (Malachi 3:10).
The tithe belongs to God. When you give it to God, He rejoices and you also get blessed. God blesses and helps you to inherit nine portions out of ten fully.
“In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: “Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak” (Zephaniah 3:16).
Do not let your hands become weak. Let not your heart be weak. Never allow the fear and worry to creep in.
HAVE PUT ON!
“It is not good that man should be alone” (Genesis 2:18).
Solitude is void and painful. The sad feeling kills itself. The people who are alone will live with frustration and sadness.
“Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you” (Deuteronomy 28:10).
You are the children of God. You have been called by His Name. You are the holy people of God. Are not these things great blessings for you?
